We offer a variety of different classes.  These meet during the 9:45 - 10:45 Sunday School hour unless otherwise noted.
Starting Point Minimize
Starting Point is a 6-week orientation class (usually held during the Sunday school hour,) for new members, visitors, church shoppers and the generally under-informed!  Sessions are usually held in the springtime and/or as the need arises. It is a wonderful way to learn about our church in a casual and fun, no pressure atmosphere.  The end of the classes culminates with a Eat & Greet church wide breakfast held in honor of those who have joined our church in recent months. Remnant Class Minimize

Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol"
Join the Remnant Class for a change-of-pace Sunday school series beginning on Sunday morning, November 23rd.  We will be reading this beloved story and exploring the concepts of Selfishness, Regret, Repentance and Salvation as told in the pages of the book.  The Remnant class meets in room 113-B downstairs in the Multi-building off the gym.  This class features a refreshing and upbeat point of-view.  Everyone is always welcome!
Cornerstone Class Minimize

The Cornerstone Class enjoys studying the many different aspects of what it means to live a Christian life.  The group rotates teaching responsibilities and learns through a variety of curricula.  The atmosphere is very relaxed and informal.  We meet in room 219.  Come join us! 

Johnson Memorial Class Minimize

This class meets every Sunday morning in room 218 and begins the day with a traditional hymn sing! This class focuses on Bible study adn its application to our daily lives in a lecture/ discussion forum. A warm welcoming class.

Disciple Class Minimize

This class meets every Sunday morning in room 221. This is a newer class led by our gifted teacher, Alda Smith. They enjoy topical Bible studies and learning about the backgrounds of our faith.
Young At Heart Minimize

This is a class comprised of parents with younger children and youth. They enjoy swapping parenting stories and learning to share their faith with their children. This class meets in room 222.

Class of Hope Minimize

This class meets every Sunday morning in room 220. This class enjoys an in-depth Bible study with plenty of fun illustrations and treats! Joy Britz leads this class.
Youth Sunday School Minimize

High School(room 107) and Middle School(room 105)classes meet in the youth area under the Sanctuary.

Children's Sunday School Minimize

Nursery and Toddlers in room 112,
2yr - 5yr old in room 110,
K-2nd in room 110,
3rd grade in room 118B and
4th & 5th grades meet in room 118C.

Back Room Babes Bible Study Minimize

If you are interested in a Bible study geared toward women along with fun and fellowship, this is the group for you.  Besides the Bible study, the "Babes" enjoy a special Christmas luncheon each year at places like Gourmet & Co. and in May, an end of the year luncheon on the back porch at Rosemary Sexton's.

Each October, the Babes cook and serve brunch to the staff, patients, and their families at the Christine Laguardia Phillips Cancer Center at Holston Valley Medical Center.  Come join us September - May, Monday evenings from 6:00 - 7:30, in Room 221 of the Multi.
