CHPC Seniors tour Channel 11
On Friday May 30 Toby Laek will lead our Seniors on a tour of CBS Channel 11 in Johnson City followed by lunch at the Firehouse Restaraunt. A one hour $4 bus tour of Bristol Motor Speedway will be the last stop of the day. Call Lillie Laek or Anita Tanzer for a reservation.  
Celebration of Music and Art
Sunday the 17 there will be a Celebration of Music and Arts in both worship services. The Praise Team and Praise Band singers and instrumentalists will be recognized in the 8:30 service. The vocal choirs, handbell choirs, and instrumentalists will be recognized in the 11:00 service. High School graduates will also be recognized in the service they attend.  
Memorial Garden Dedication May 25
The Dedication Ceremony for the Memory Garden is set for Sunday, May 25 at 9:35 a.m. in the Memory Garden. Everyone is invited. Those at the 8:30 a.m. service will proceed from the gym to the garden after worship. Others please gather in the garden before 9:35 a.m.  
GIFT Finale May 14
Our final GIFT will be on May 14 with a potluck meal. Come and join the food and fellowship. Choir children will also redeem their choir currency.  
Vacation Bible School - June 16-20
"Outrigger Island" will take place from 9:00 AM to noon each day from June 16-20. This event is for children ages 3 years (potty-trained) through rising 6th graders. Watch this space for information regarding regisration.  
Fun Fest Block Party - July 5
CHPC will host a Fun Fest Block Party on Saturday, July 5 beginning at 4:00 PM. This will be a large event that you won't want to miss. Watch this space for more details.
-TK's Big Dog's will be catering this event.
-Activities include inflatable games, performances from 3 bands, bingo, cakewalks, and various other games for all ages.
-An outdoor movie will be shown on the lawn at 9:30.  

Graduate Sunday - May 18
We will honor our graduates on Sunday, May 18. In preparation, we are gathering names of high school and college graduates for this year. If you or your child graduate this spring or has graduated sinced last May, call the Church Office with name, school, degree and future plans as soon as possible  
Celebrate our Growth at the 2nd Annual Eat & Greet Fellowship Breakfast May 17
The 2nd Annual Eat & Greet Fellowship Breakfast will be Saturday 9-10:30, May 17 in the Multi. The cost is $5.00 per person. The event is hosted by the Welcoming committee, and a delicious breakfast will be prepared by none other than our fabulous Men’s Fellowship Group. Join with us as we celebrate our precious church family and share a good time with new members and friends. There will be good food, fellowship, fun and surprises. Tickets are available before and after both worship services and Wednesdays at GIFT or from Rosemary Sexton, Tami Walters, Anita Tanzer or Jon Pierce.
